Terms of Service

Effective May 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using Honedly (“the Service”), operated by Honedly, LLC (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and any passkeys secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Health disclaimer

Honedly is a self-tracking and planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Calorie burn estimates, TDEE calculations, and other figures are approximations and should not be relied on for clinical decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any diet or exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service;
  • Upload content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes others' rights.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you log (meals, workouts, photos, notes, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it to you (and to anyone you explicitly share a public profile with) solely to operate the Service.

7. Public profiles

If you enable a shareable public profile, the stats you select will be viewable by anyone with the link. You can disable sharing or regenerate the link at any time from the profile page.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account tab. Deletions are soft for 30 days — your data is hidden immediately and permanently purged after the grace period; signing back in within the 30 days restores the account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On permanent deletion, your personal data is removed from active systems per our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data it shows is accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honedly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, including any health or fitness outcomes.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

Honedly, LLC is organized under the laws of the State of Idaho. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Disputes and arbitration

We'd rather sort things out directly than litigate. If you have an issue with Honedly, please email us first at hello@honedly.com; we'll work in good faith to resolve it.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way shall be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in Ada County, Idaho, or another location the parties agree to. Each party bears its own costs except as the AAA rules provide. You and we both waive any right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by emailing us at the address above within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, account email, and that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other provision.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court in Ada County, Idaho. Claims for injunctive relief related to intellectual property may be brought in state or federal courts in Ada County, Idaho.
