What each tier unlocks, where the AI lives, and how to switch between them.
Honedly has three tiers. Freeis the whole tracker — meals, workouts, micros, wearables, programs, history, last week's Coach insight (read-only). Pro adds the AI you call on yourself (snap-a-meal, voice meals, recipe gen, fresh weekly insights). Pro+ adds the AI that watches your week proactively (adaptive TDEE, daily brief, plateau detector, voice journal). You can move between them any time from Settings → Billing; Stripe handles the proration.

Will the Free tier stay free?
Yes. The whole tracker — meals, workouts, macros, micronutrients, custom recipes, every wearable integration, the readiness score, built-in workout programs, last week's Coach insight — stays free forever. Paid tiers add AI on top, never take features away from Free.
Can I switch between Pro and Pro+ in either direction?
Yes, from Settings → Billing. Upgrading and downgrading both go through the in-app routes — Stripe charges or credits the prorated difference on your next invoice.
What happens to my data if I cancel Pro?
Nothing — your meals, workouts, weight, recipes, collections, and history stay intact. You drop back to Free at the end of your current billing period, lose access to the AI features, and the rest of the app keeps working.
Is there a free trial?
When the operator enables a trial promotion, new signups get N days of Pro (or Pro+ on admin-granted trials) without a card. You see the banner on the landing page if it's active. Trial users get the full Pro experience and never auto-convert — you choose whether to keep paying.
What if Anthropic is having an outage?
Every AI feature has a clear “AI temporarily unavailable” placeholder when the upstream is down. The tracker, library, history, and wearables all keep working — only the AI features pause until upstream recovers. Check Honedly status anytime to see the current state of upstreams.
